The Bandits staff and players work together to bring a quality game to the Siouxland area. It takes a lot of hard work and organization year 'round and it says a lot that so many of the Bandits family come back year after year. Playing for, and working for, the Bandits isn't just a 'job', it's meeting new people - the wonderful fans we have and the fantastic support from our sponsors. We couldn't do it without you.
This year, our 19th season of indoor football, will be another exciting year with lots of changes in the roster. We had several of our vets - faces we've grown to love - that sadly will not be returning. We will definitely miss them on the field but hope to see them in the stands cheering us on. Regardless, we send them all the love and good wishes our Bandit family deserves.
Our wonderful sponsors that return year after year, and the new ones we pick up along the way, also deserve our deepest gratitude and well wishes. Be sure to keep them in mind when you are out shopping or looking for a service to be done. They do a lot to keep the Bandits organization going, for without their support we would not be able to do the fun activities or give away the cool stuff we do.
Our talented coaching staff has been there every year, putting together a great roster, teaching them the ropes, and getting individual players working together as a team. Not only do our coaches know what it's like to be on the field playing indoor football, they love teaching what they know to the team. On and off the field, our coaches are there for our players and put in countless hours of watching film, working on stats, coordinating schedules, and keeping up on changing rules and operations so we stay on top of our game. And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
Our behind the scenes staff such as our equipment manager, player personnel, game day staff, and others also put in countless unseen hours to make sure our game days go off as smoothly as possible. Cleaning and repairing uniforms, coordinating film drops or doctor visits for injuries, folding shirts and fulfilling sponsor contracts and so much more goes into the weekly chores of our staff. They're an amazing group to work with, so be sure to thank them if you see them!
At the top of the organization is the Bandits' Managing Partner, Bob Scott. His hard work and dedication to the Siouxland community has allowed indoor football to thrive. He is determined to bring affordable fun, family-friendly entertainment to Siouxland, and he has achieved that goal quite well since the beginning. Without Bob and his hard work, connections, drive and head for business, we would not have a team.
What a great team we have!
