Sioux City Bandits Announce 2020 Schedule

Sioux City, Iowa – The Sioux City Bandits are pleased to announce the schedule for the 2020 season. The Champions Indoor Football (CIF) league kicks off the 2020 season on March 1 with Omaha Beef traveling to our new team in Odessa, TX. The Bandits open their season at home on March 21 when Omaha Beef travels up the I-29 corridor to kick off the Bandits 20th season at 7:05pm.

“We are excited to embark on the 20th season of indoor football in Sioux City and hope to make it a special one,” stated Head Coach Erv Strohbeen. Strohbeen has been with the Bandits as a player, then a coach, since the beginning of Sioux City indoor football and has been head coach since 2012.

Also returning to the coaching staff is Offensive Coordinator Jarrod “JD” DeGeorgia and Defensive Coordinator Marlon Lobban. Both coaches have also played for the Bandits and were excited to join the coaching staff when they hung up their jerseys.

“The Bandits are more than just a football team, we’re a family,” remarked DeGeorgia. “We’ve always been a family and I love these guys.”
